ACE Trips and Events
Welcome to 2012! We hope you’re all enjoying your new year thoroughly. The ACE students have all started their new schedule and we’ve launched the 2nd cycle of ACE into a full swing!
We wanted to point your attention to our list of Friday ACE events (opens in a new window/tab) for the next few months. We’ve got a variety of stay-at-school and trip options for the students in the coming months.
We’ll also be reaching out to families of students that are *almost* 30-day kids to ask them to help us reach our goal of 30 days of attendance for as many students as possible.

Parent and Student Survey — Action needed!
Please complete our ACE Parent Survey and ACE Student Survey by Thursday, December 15th. These surveys help our program maintain its funding. As this is our last year in this current 5-year grant cycle, your feedback is crucial in our potential to reapply for future funding.

ACE Family Night – Dec. 14th
Please join us for ACE Family Night on Wednesday, December 14th from 6:30 to 8 PM. Dinner will be prepared and served by our ACE students, and we will have student performances and work displays. RSVP if you plan to attend by calling the ACE office at 609-561-3868 x251, emailing us (jlugg@mullica.k12.nj.us) or by returning the slip that was sent home. We hope to see you then!
Free Babysitting Class — sign up now!
Would you like to learn how to be a babysitter? AtlantiCare will be offering a Safe Sitter® course at ACE, starting on Tuesday, November 29th from 4:15 to 6:15 PM. The class will continue the following two Tuesdays, December 6th and 13th. Students need to be between the ages of 11 to 13 and must attend all three sessions (11/29, 12/6 and 12/13). There will be helpful materials and a certificate upon completion of the course, presented at our ACE Family Night on December 14th. Class space is limited, so do not delay your registration! Halloween and ACE
Attention: ACE Families
Next Monday, October 31, Halloween, we will have ACE for one hour only (from 3:30 to 4:30 PM) in order to allow ACE families the opportunity to trick-or-treat in Mullica from 6 to 8 PM.
We will have 4:30 buses available to transport the children home. If you have any questions, please contact us (609-561-3868 x251). Thanks!
